Wow, it has been a crazy month, but a great one. Nick and I seem to be doing something every weekend. Usually that stresses us out sometimes, but I am glad because it will make this last trimester go by fast. Hopefully.

End of Summer and Start of Fall
We are so excited about fall approaching. In the past, we have always been in a place that fall is
maybe 2-3 weeks during the year. But now that we live in a place that actually has all 4 seasons and we can officially experience a true fall.
maybe 2-3 weeks during the year. But now that we live in a place that actually has all 4 seasons and we can officially experience a true fall. Summer was fun...we had a few friends come and visit us. Jake, Lezlie and Isabel were one of the friends that came to Hickory to see us. We all knew each other in Savannah and have all moved from there now. Jake, Lezlie and Isabel live in Kentucky now. We miss them dearly. We had a great time when they came to visit us. We can't wait to see them again soon.
Nick turned 30 this year...ahh!!! It was a great birthday. We had a few friends in Hickory come celebrate on his actual birthday. But I threw him a surprise party two weeks after his birthday. We had such a great time. He was completely thrown off guard. Everyone that helped me with this party, did a great job!!!
Now that fall is coming, we are excited about watching the leaves change and the weather cool off. We are going to be heading to the mountains near by our home and the GA mountains. We have already been to Ellijay, GA once this year with family. We had such a great time. We went to near by apple houses, a pumpkin farm, and tried to climb the Amicalola Falls. Well, Kim, Natalie, Corrie, Brandon and even Peyton made it to the top, but the rest of us decided to just drive to the top. Nick and I can't wait to go back in October with some friends from Hickory!

1st Baby Webb on her way...

Well we haven't written a post in awhile and we thought we would start being more on top of this, especially since we have more exciting news these days. Nick and I are expecting our first child and she is due December 30th.
So here is the catch up on our baby news. We found out we were pregnant April 20th. My reaction and Nick's reaction are here in the pictures. No, we were both excited about the news!!! We told our parents on April 25th. We wanted them to know, but told them they had to wait to tell other people after we were a little further along. At this point I was only 6wks. I'm not sure if it was harder for me or for them on waiting to tell others. We went to the doctor and heard the heart beat at 13wks (June 12th). We went ahead and told the rest of our family and close friends.
Our next appointment was going to be the best appointment ever and it turned out to be not as we thought. We were going at what we thought was 18wks in the pregnancy. We were supposed to find out what we were having. Well, at the appointment, they did an ultrasound and realized we weren't as far along as we thought we were. The orginal due date was December 17th and the ultrasound tech told us we weren't that far along. Dr. Merta said this happens sometimes and our new due date is December 30th. It was a little disappointing...well I cried, but we are fine with everything now. We went back 4wks later at 20wks in the pregnancy and found out we were having a GIRL!!! Her name is Anna Kathryn Webb. We will call her Anna Kathryn and a nickname of Anna Kate. Left picture is how they figured out she was a girl. And the right is just a good picture of her.

She has been kicking away and Nick and I both can feel and see her now. Nick's parents helped us purchase her crib. We have purchased a gliding chair for her room. My mom gave us my changing table/dresser from when I was a baby for us to use. My grandparents on both sides helped with the bedding and crib mattress. We are so grateful for family and their support. So now it's just to the fun little things of getting her room ready. We are hoping to start painting her room soon. I will post some pictures of what we have so far.
Nick and I are so excited about this new adventure and appreciate all the advice and help we can get. Have a wonderful blessed day!

Flowers are blooming everywhere. It is so pretty up here right now. We have really enjoyed the warm weather the past few days. It was a little crazy that just two weeks ago we were covered with 3-5 inches of snow and then this past weekend we had 80 degree weather.
I get really excited when I see something new popping up out of the ground. At first I thought some of these flowers were going to be weeds, but then I was surprised to see they turned out to be flowers. Our sweet neighbor next to us informed me that around this time of year, usually anything coming up out of the ground will be a flower. So here are a few pictures I took out in the yard of our beautiful wild flowers. The yellow flower is a Daffodil and the purple flowers are Wild Purple Iris.

Our First Blog
Just an update to where we are and what we are doing...Nick is working at Flowers Baking Co., in Newton, NC. It is about a 15-20 minute drive depending on which way he goes. I am currently waiting to hear if I have a job at a school just for Special Needs children. So cross your fingers this all goes through. We have met a few people and are still searching for a church. Everyone up here is really nice and we know God has placed us here for a reason.
