Sand, Sun and Water...1st Beach Trip

We headed to Hilton Head Island in SC for Memorial day weekend to spend a few days with Nick's family at the beach.  Anna Kate loved it.  She really enjoyed watching all of the children play in the water.  She also enjoyed the water herself.  She is really getting quite the personality.  Night times were still a little rough for us at the beach, but overall we had a great time.  Thanks Dede and Poppi for letting us come along.  

First Bite

Well we attempted to feed Anna Kate her first cereal last night. It was a success.  At first she wasn't sure and then by the third bite it was a hit.  She still made some interested faces throughout the entire meal.  She also wanted to start sticking her hands all in her mouth and then that led to all over her face.  But we let her.  It was too cute.  Overall Nick and I thought she really liked it.  The only thing she didn't do well at was the sippy cup.  But we will keep trying.  We had to put water in a bottle and give her water that way.  All in all...we can't believe how big she is getting. She is now 5months old and just into everything we are doing.  She doesn't want to be left alone, she wants to near the action!!!  Love this little bit.  Here are a few pictures of her first bite.

First Flight and Anna Kate 4 months old

                                                                                                                                                        

Wow, where has the time gone. All I can say is our little girl is getting to be so big.  She can now laugh, smile (and it isn't gas), roll from tummy to back and many more.  I just am amazed to see God through her growth.  As of right now night times are still a little rough.  So pray she grows out of this every 2 hours getting up and goes back to the 4-5 hours stretch sleeping.  Love her to death, but we need our sleep too!!!  She also went on her first plane ride.  Nick and I agree that is the way to travel with her.  She did great.  Here are a few pictures. 

Anna Kathryn thru 3months

It's hard to believe it has already been 3 months since Anna Kathryn was born.  Time has flown by.  She is smiling, interacting and just a joy to be around.  Don't get me wrong, there are times that are bad, but the good ones out weigh the bad.  Here are a few pictures of her through these past 3 months.
